Join colleagues and friends for a short presentation about developments that are happening and being planned in the Central 9th Neighborhood (SLC) followed by a walking tour of the area with:

• President of LandForge, Inc.
• Members of Atlas Architects
• SLC RDA representatives.

After the tour, join us at Meditrina Restaurant (165 W 900 S) for Social Hour hosted by CNU Utah.

Downtown Provo’s ongoing renaissance and the establishment of the Frontrunner station/intermodal center nearby have been the impetus for several new multifamily residential developments, some with ground-floor commercial and most of which are quite “fine-grained.” This UrbanThink will include a walking tour (approx. 2 mile loop) of developments by NeighborWorks Provo, Cowboy Partners, and Forge Development; chats about the projects with their developers and City officals; and time at the end to discuss lessons to be learned from Provo’s experience thus far. Light refreshments will be served.

Date & Time: Wednesday, May 17, 2017, 3:00-5:00 p.m. Following the 5:00 end time, allow 15-20 minutes to walk back to the starting point.

Location: Meet at the Provo Frontrunner station, corner of 600 South Freedom Blvd. (200 West). By car from the north: Take I-15 Exit 265 (PROVO Center Street); head east on Center Street to 200 West/Freedom Blvd.; then south on Freedom Blvd., across the tracks at 600 South. Plenty of parking on-street on in the Frontrunner lot.

Cost: No charge for this event. However, please RSVP so that we know how many people to expect.
