Paul Glauser, AICP

Paul has 36 years’ experience in planning and redevelopment in Ogden, Draper, Provo, and a range of other communities across Utah. As Director of the Provo City Redevelopment Agency from 2001 to 2014, he spearheaded a series of planning and implementation strategies to infuse downtown Provo’s renaissance with New Urbanist principles. Now, following two years of volunteer service in Russia, Paul is back in Utah and excited once again to join CNU-U’s efforts to help Utah communities grow better. “Too often, our cities, towns, and counties have hamstrung themselves with policies, practices and regulations which prevent the kinds of places where so many people long to live. CNU-Utah can help our citizens to better articulate the qualities they desire in their living environments and assist local officials to create an atmosphere where great places can thrive.” Paul has degrees from BYU and Harvard.
